Victor Dalby Lord, Jr. (formerly Thomas Todd Manning) is a fictional character from the ABC soap opera One Life to Live Wiki and the online reboot of OLTL. Actor Trevor St. John began playing the role of "Walker Laurence" on the now-canceled ABC soap opera One Life to Live in May of 2003. In August of 2003, it was revealed that "Walker" was actually "Todd Manning" with a new face. In August of 2011, however, it was revealed that this character was actually Todd’s identical twin brother, Victor Lord Jr., and not Todd himself. Victor was also played by Roger Howarth, the actor who plays Todd Manning, in two episodes in 2011 during flashbacks of before Victor's plastic surgery. Victor has never appeared on General Hospital, but has been mentioned and plays a major role in the storylines of other One Life to Live characters who have crossed over to General Hospital. He presumably re-appears in the Prospect Park reboot where he sneaks into the opening of Shelter

OLTL storylines[]

Background[]

Victor Lord Jr was raised by his mother Irene Manning in seclusion. In March of 2003, convicted rapist Todd Manning was badly beaten by an enemy, Mitch Laurence, and left to die in his father, Victor Lord's, crypt. The crypt, however, was empty when it was searched later; and Todd was presumed dead.

Irene's agent, Tomas Delgado, kidnapped Todd and brought him to her. Irene, wanting Victor to get his father's inheritance, brainwashed Victor and made him believe he was Todd. She then have him plastic surgery, so he would looks like Mitch's brother Walker Laurence.

Walker Laurence[]

In May of 2003, a man named Walker Laurence arrived in Llanview and Todd's ex-wife Blair Cramer took a liking to him. She was running Todd's tabloid, The Sun, and gave him a job as a reporter. As Blair got closer to Walker, not realizing he was manipulating her, Walker confessed to Todd's daughter Starr that he was actually her father Todd. He claimed that he had had

plastic surgery after the severe beating he had had earlier that year to look like Mitch's brother Walker. Walker even had all of Todd's memories. Todd's nephew Kevin Buchanan, who had a life-long feud with his uncle, also found out that Walker was Todd, but kept quiet. Blair fell in love with Walker and agreed to marry him. After they were married, however, Blair realized the truth and had the marriage annulled and refused to let Todd see their children. Blair later falsely accused Todd of raping her and he was sent to prison, but she later recanted and he was released.

Blair Cramer[]

Later, Starr met a boy on the Internet and went to New York to meet him. She ended up being kidnapped, but Todd and Blair saved her. There was later a fire, and Starr was caught inside. Todd went in to save her, and Blair ended up saving Todd. Blair then realized how much she was still in love with him and they reconciled. The two planned to remarry, but on the eve of the wedding, a crazed woman obsessed with Todd, Margaret Cochran, shot and kidnapped him. Margaret held Todd hostage and wanted him to impregnate her, but he refused. She finally threatened to kill Blair and their children if he didn't sleep with her, and she raped him. Todd was then rescued by Kevin.

Margaret later returned to Llanview, pregnant with Todd's child. Todd wanted to kill her and tried to strangle her, claiming the child she was carrying was a demon, the son of two rapists; Kevin stopped him though.[6] Later, the body of a pregnant woman was found and it was believed to be Margaret's, and Todd was arrested for the murder. Todd was tried, convicted, and sentenced to death, all the while adamant that he was innocent. Blair, however, didn't believe his innocence, and they split up.

Todd was administered the lethal injection and declared dead, then detective John McBain barged in with a very much alive Margaret Cochran. Blair then convinced her new boyfriend, Dr. Spencer Truman, to revive him. Spencer had faked Margaret's death and framed Todd for the murder. He had delivered Margaret and Todd's baby, whom she named Todd Spencer Manning, Jr.,[7] then sold him on the black market. Margaret died in a van crash, however, before she could reveal what had happened to the baby, so Todd thought his son was dead. The baby, however, had actually been adopted by John's brother Michael and his wife Marcie and was also living in Llanview; they called him Tommy.

Blair wanted Todd to forgive her for not believing his innocence, so she set out to prove that Spencer was responsible for framing him. She slept with Todd on one occasion, but was dating Spencer in order to get close to him. She found out she was pregnant and feared it was Spencer's, but soon realized it was Todd's, but never got a chance to tell him. Spencer was revealed to be the one who framed Todd, and in a struggle between the two men, Blair ended up falling off the roof of a warehouse. When they got to the hospital, Todd found out that Blair was pregnant with his child, but had lost the baby.

Todd later found out that the McBains had adopted his son. He was desperate to get custody of him, so he paid Blair $5 million to marry him. Todd and the McBains went to court, and Todd was awarded custody in October of 2007. Before she handed him over, however, Marcie kidnapped the baby and went on the run. She was eventually found and the baby was given back to Todd, who renamed him Sam.

Blair and Todd later broke up again when he walked in on Starr having sex with her boyfriend, Cole Thornhart, and nearly beat him to death. Starr and Cole ran away together, and when Blair, Todd, and John found them, Todd went after Cole and accidentally pushed Starr down a flight of stairs. At the hospital, Blair found out Starr was pregnant, but didn't tell Todd. She got a restraining order against him to keep him away from her, Starr, and their son Jack. Later, Todd was in a car crash with his son Sam, who was sitting in the front seat and not in a child's car seat. Because of this, Blair was also awarded custody of Sam, and later adopted him.

Marty Saybrooke[]

In June of 2008, Todd found Cole's mother, Marty Saybrooke, who was presumed dead. Todd had been convicted of raping Marty in college. Marty had amnesia and couldn't walk, so Todd took her back to his house and hired a nurse to help him take care of her. He led her to believe they were old college friends and failed to mention that he had raped her or that she had a son. He also told her that it wasn't safe for her to leave his house because people were after her. Todd's pregnant niece Jessica Buchanan, who has DID (multiple personalities) and was actually her alter Tess at the time, found out that Todd was hiding Marty. She promised not to let anyone know if he didn't tell anyone that Tess was back.

Later, Cole told Todd that Starr was pregnant because Starr planned to allow Michael and Marcie adopt the baby, and Cole was against it. Cole told Todd hoping he'd stop her from giving the baby up. Todd hatched a plan to kidnap the baby at birth, let Starr believe the baby was dead, and run away with Marty and raise him or her together. He told Marty, however, that Starr agreed to give him her baby.

Todd and Marty got closer as he nursed her back to health and helped her learn to walk again. He told the nurse that he was falling in love with her, and coerced her to help him steal Starr's baby. On the night Starr gave birth, Marty told Todd she loved him, and they made love. Todd then changed his mind about stealing the baby, and went to the hospital to call it off. The baby girl, however, had already been taken from Starr and Marcie and left in the doctor's office, awaiting Todd. Todd told the doctor the deal was off and then went home. When the doctor went back to her office to get the baby for Starr, the baby she found was dead. What the doctor didn't know was that the baby wasn't Starr's baby. Jessica had given birth the same night to a stillborn baby girl, and her alter Bess came out and switched Jessica's dead baby for Starr's alive baby.

Todd went home and found that John had broken into his house to rescue Marty. Marty was weary of John, as Todd had told her that he was dangerous, as John told her the truth about Todd raping her in college. Marty didn't believe him, but Todd admitted it. John then severely beat Todd. Todd was taken to the hospital under arrest, where he learned that Starr's baby had died. He then admitted to Starr that he had planned to kidnap her baby and run away to raise her with Marty.

At the arraignment, Todd was charged with a laundry list of crimes against Marty, including rape. Since Marty then knew that Todd had raped her in college, she considered their sexual encounter at his house to be rape due to Todd taking advantage of her and her amnesia and not giving her enough information to make an educated enough decision in giving consent. Todd was prepared to represent himself in court, but Todd's other ex-wife and attorney Téa Delgado came in. Todd went ahead and pleaded guilty, but Téa convinced Todd to let her represent him. Téa then convinced Todd to plead not guilty and convinced the judge to allow him to change his plea. Téa then was able to get Todd off scot-free. After hearing the verdict, Starr stood up in court and told the judge that Todd had tried to kidnap her baby and she ended up dying. Todd was then charged with attempted kidnapping.

While awaiting trial, knowing that Todd was obsessed with her and still felt he loved her, Marty lured him to a hotel room. She led him out onto the roof and coaxed him into committing suicide by jumping off the roof. He did, but he fell into the river below, where Blair and Téa were, and they saved him. Téa then told Starr about Todd's suicide attempt, and when Starr testified at the trial, she changed her story and said he did not try to kidnap her baby. Therefore, Todd got off again. Nora Hanen, the District Attorney, however, threatened to have Starr arrested for perjury unless Todd confessed. Todd confessed that he was actually guilty of everything, namely raping Marty and trying to kidnap Starr's baby, to Nora, Marty, Starr, Cole, Blair, Téa, and John after the judge had left the court room.[8]

Custody battles and Powell[]

In 2009, Téa told Todd that she would no longer represent him. She was still in love with him and was trying to distance herself from him, but she didn't tell him that. Todd found Blair at her home having been repeatedly stabbed. While Blair was in the hospital, Todd went to court to try and regain custody of his kids. Blair's aunt, Dorian Lord, hired Téa to represent Blair; and when they came to court, Todd was shocked to hear that Blair had married John McBain. The judge agreed to give John custody of the kids. Todd soon realized that Téa was hurting him because she was still in love with him. Therefore, he agreed to be her "sex slave" if she'd help him get his kids back. Téa led Todd to believe she was agreeing to the deal by sleeping with him, but then she refused to help him. Todd, however, continued to flirt with her.

John was later falsely arrested for killing a woman and stabbing Blair. John escaped jail and went on the run, while Todd went back to court to get custody of his kids. Todd distracted Téa by having sex with her on a couple more occasions, and he was able to regain custody of the kids. Blair heard that Todd got custody, so she signed herself out of the hospital and insisted on moving into his house with the kids.

Todd, Téa, Blair, and Marty were then all drugged and kidnapped. The woke up at the same frat house where Todd had raped Marty in college. Todd's crazed cousin, Powell Lord III, who had taken part in the rape of Marty in college, had reconstructed the room to look exactly like it did the night of the rape. Powell tried to convince Téa to kill Todd, who was tied to the bed, but when she tried to kill Powell instead, he locked her and Blair up downstairs. Meanwhile, Powell's accomplice, Rebecca Lewis, found out that the baby Jessica was raising was actually Starr's baby and kidnapped her. She brought the baby to Powell, who told Todd and Marty that the baby was their granddaughter. John then came in and rescued them and killed Powell. Todd and Marty took the baby to the hospital where they learned that the baby was in fact their granddaughter, and the baby was returned to Starr and Cole.

Todd and Blair again went to court to fight for custody of the kids. This time in court, both Blair and Téa claimed that Todd was the love of their life. Todd tried to get back together with Téa and allowed her to stay in his home while he was ordered by the court to live with Blair and the kids at her house. Blair was jealous of Téa and threw herself at Todd. They had sex and Téa walked in on them. Todd begged her to forgive him and tried his best to win her back.

Téa Delgado[]

Todd soon proposed to Téa and she eventually agreed. What he didn't know though was that she had only done so after she thought her divorce from Ross Rayburn, to whom Todd didn't even know she was married, was finalized. Although, Blair had convinced Ross to actually fake the divorce. Todd and Téa were married September 29, 2009, but the next day Blair told them their marriage was invalid due to Téa already being married to Ross. Todd was mad at Téa for her not telling him about Ross and they broke up.

Téa was furious at Blair and went to confront her. In a heated argument, Téa told Blair that she had a child, and Blair figured out that the child was Todd's. Téa and Blair struggled, and Blair fell out of the second story window. She was okay, but had memory loss and couldn't remember what Téa had told her. Blair eventually remembered with the help of her psychiatrist, Marty, but she decided to keep it from Todd.

Todd still loved Téa, however, and tracked her movements to Seattle. He flew to Seattle and met up with her in a hotel room where he saved her from an angry and violent Ross. Téa had just told Ross that he wasn't the father of her daughter Dani. Todd then realized that Dani was his daughter and Téa had DNA test results to prove it. Ross then kidnapped Dani, but Todd was able to eventually track them down and rescue her, seemingly killing Ross. Dani, who still didn't know Todd was her father, was furious at him for killing her "dad" and didn't want anything to do with him. Téa later broke up with Todd for Dani's sake. Soon after, Dani found out that Todd was her father and about his violent past; she wanted even less to do with him. She met and bonded with her sister Starr, however.

Later, Todd walked in on Cole and a girl named Hannah, who was wearing just her bra, and jumped to the wrong conclusion. After shoving Cole and promising to get him out of Starr's life, he went to Cole's mother Marty and went off on her. Marty, who was pregnant with John's baby, was later pushed down the stairs at the hospital and lost the baby. Todd was accused of the crime. Cole later beat Todd nearly to death for hurting his mother, and Todd was put in the hospital, where he flatlined before being revived.

"Todd" marries Téa

While awaiting trial, Todd found out that Téa had been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. He stood by her and helped her get through treatments. When Dani finally found out about her mom being sick and saw how well Todd took care of her, she became closer to him. The charges against Todd were later dropped when Hannah, who was being coerced by Ross' brother Eli Clarke, admitted to pushing Marty down the stairs. Todd then proposed to Téa and the two were married. Soon after the wedding though, Téa decided to go away to a hospice to die alone, leaving Dani with Todd. Todd tracked down Téa, but when he and Dani got there, they were told that she had already died and her body had been sent off to be cremated.

Ross later showed up alive, and with Téa's will naming him as Dani's guardian. Todd and Blair knew the will was fake though since Téa had told them specifically that she wanted Dani to be with Todd, and Blair if something happened to Todd. Todd and Ross went to court to fight for custody of Dani, and Ross won. While Dani was packing to move to Tahiti with Ross, she disappeared. Starr had helped her run away. Ross later died of a gunshot wound inflicted by his brother Eli, and Eli kidnapped Starr, Dani, and Hope. They tracked them down to a warehouse and Eli released Dani, but Blair went inside to find Starr and Hope. Then John and Todd went in to find Blair as well. Then the warehouse exploded. Blair, John, and Todd didn't find Hope and Starr, but they did find Téa, very much alive. Starr and Hope had previously escaped Eli.

The two Todd Mannings[]

Later, Téa's brother Tomas came to town and the two instantly disliked each other. Todd was later shot and put in a coma, and when he woke up, he accused Tomas of shooting him. Tomas, however, told Todd that he had information on him he wouldn't want to get out, and Todd cleared his name. John then showed Todd an encrypted CIA file on him, with his original face, and Tomas had one too. Tomas then gave Todd a disc of information about Todd he didn't want revealed.

File:Todd victor jr.jpg

The two Todd Mannings

In July of 2011, Sam was kidnapped from his birthday party. Todd got a call from the kidnapper, who asked him to meet him at The Sun offices, and he did. It turned out to be a man with Todd's original face. Both men claimed to be the real Todd Manning, and accused the other of being a fraud. The man with Todd's original face took Todd back to his house at gunpoint, but then a rogue CIA agent took him away and told Todd that he had been killed.

In August, the man with Todd's original face showed up at a movie premier. Todd tells Téa that he had been contacted years before by the rogue CIA agent; he wanted to funnel money through The Sun, but Todd refused when he realized he who he was. The agent then tried to kill Todd, but Tomas, who also admitted he worked for the agent, had saved him. Tomas admitted to Blair that he had been sent to take Todd from his father Victor's crypt eight years before and take him to another CIA agent. But he didn't know what happened to Todd after that.

John took blood from both Todd Mannings and tested it against DNA they had on file from Marty's rape case years before. Shockingly, both tests came back as positive matches. Starr suggested the only way they could both be a match is if they were identical twins, but that didn't explain why they both truly believed they were Todd, and why they both had Todd's memories. John and Tomas tracked down the CIA agent Tomas had taken Todd to years before in Louisiana. Who it turned out to be was Irene Manning, Todd's biological mother, who had long been thought dead. Irene explained that they were in fact identical twins. She had given Todd to her cousin to raise while she secretly kept Victor Lord, Jr.

Irene had Todd brought to her after he had been beaten, and she planned to replace him with his brother so that he could get their father's inheritance. Although, Todd was still wanted by Mitch Laurence, so she gave Victor Jr. plastic surgery to look like Mitch's younger brother Walker. She brainwashed Victor Jr. into thinking he was Todd and gave him all of his memories.

Victor tells the kids he's not their dad

Victor was afraid that Téa and the kids wouldn't love him anymore when they found out he wasn't Todd, but all of them assured him they'd always love him. Jack and Dani even continued to call him "dad." After Téa accepted Victor as her husband, they made love. Days later, Victor was shot by an unseen assailant and seemingly died in Téa's arms on August 31. After Victor "died," Téa found out she was pregnant with his child and struggled to come to terms with the idea of raising the child without him.

The search for the culprit went on for months, and Todd was eventually arrested for his brother's murder. Todd was angry with Victor for taking his life, family, and everything else from him for eight years. He claimed, however, that Irene had messed with his head and made him kill Victor. Todd didn't even remember doing it for a while. On January 12, 2012, however, Victor was revealed to be alive and being held captive by escaped prisoner Allison Perkins.

"Posthumous" storylines on GH[]

In March of 2012, Victor's twin brother Todd Manning arrives in Port Charles, New York having heard that his daughter Starr Manning was injured. Todd is out on bail for Victor's "murder" and jumped bail when he left Llanview, Pennsylvania. Todd seems to show no remorse for killing his brother, telling Blair Cramer that no one liked Victor. Starr at first refuses to see Todd because she is angry at him for killing the uncle who raised her like his own. Later, Todd asks his new friend Carly Jacks if she believes he killed his brother. She asks him if he did; and he responds that if he did, he deserved it. John McBain then comes and arrests Todd and takes him back to Llanview to stand trial.

In May, Todd returns to Port Charles when Starr is being charged with attempted murder of Sonny Corinthos. He has been acquitted of "murdering" Victor by the reason of temporary insanity due to the post traumatic stress of being held hostage and tortured by his mother Irene for eight years. Victor's wife Téa Delgado also arrives in town to represent Starr. Téa berates Todd for killing Victor, as she is about to give birth to his child any day. Todd still has no remorse for killing his twin and maintains that no one, except Téa, liked him.

On June 1, Téa goes into labor as Todd is driving her to the hospital during a storm. They get stuck and Todd delivers a baby boy at a bus stop on the side of the road. The baby isn't crying, so Todd takes him to get help and runs into Heather Webber at a gardening shack. The baby dies. Then, Sam Morgan, who has also just given birth, arrives and passes out. Todd then finds Sam's alive baby on the porch and is holding him when Téa arrives at the shack and assumes the baby is her and Victor's son. Todd can't bring himself to tell Téa the truth, and Heather convinces him to switch the babies. Téa names the baby Victor Lord III, and Todd takes them back to Llanview.

In October, it is revealed to Téa and others that there was baby switch and Victor's and Téa's baby died soon after his birth and the baby is currently buried in a Port Charles cemetery. Téa gives back Sam's son to her, while she grieves the baby that she and Victor didn't share together.

OLTL 2.0[]

Victor escaped from where he was being held and is seen lurking around town in the premiere and is shown watching Todd Manning carrying a passed out Danielle Manning at the opening of Shelter on the first episode. He shocked his family by showing up at the hospital, where Dani had been admitted after overdosing on pills. With the exception of his brother, everyone was overjoyed to learn that Victor was alive and welcomed him home. Téa filled Victor in on the past months of her life and announced that she had become pregnant before Victor's presumed death but the child did not survive. After Téa shared what she had been through, she asked Victor to talk about where he had been and how he received a tattoo of a circle with spirals inside. Victor refused to discuss what had happened. He certainly didn't tell Téa that he had subdued a man who was chasing him the night he reappeared.

As Victor adjusted to life back in Llanview, he reclaimed his place as the father figure to Dani and Jack, much to Todd's dismay. Victor decided to deal with Todd by poisoning the liquor in his hotel room. Todd ingested some of the poison and then asked Victor to put their family first and asked for a truce. Victor agreed and removed the poison from Todd's hotel room.

But after seeing an armed man in the coffee shop bearing the same tattoo that Victor had, Victor stunned Téa by suddenly announcing he had to go away again and that he didn't know when - or if - he would return. He said goodbye to the children and then paid Todd a visit. Todd was livid to learn Victor was abandoning his family, saying he should have killed him when he had the chance. Victor stunned Todd with a punch to the throat and then proceeded to choke him until he passed out, but not before revealing that he had been poisoning Todd. After Victor's disappearance, the police recovered a body in the river bearing the same tattoo as Victor's and assembled evidence proving that Victor was trying to poison Todd.
