Template:References Hunt was born and raised in Countryside, an upper middle-class community in Clearwater, Florida. Her father is Clark Hunt, who owns and operates a prominent construction company in central Florida. Hunt attended Palm Harbor University High School in Palm Harbor, Florida until she moved to New York City a few months shy of graduation for her role on Guiding Light, causing her to miss her senior prom. She completed her high school studies and received her diploma through a correspondence school out of New England. Hunt recently got engaged on Christmas Eve 2008 to Philippe Spiess, a cancer surgeon at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. They are planning a Florida wedding in the Fall.
Hunt started her career by doing pageants at six months old and her pageant talent was acting. Hunt has also starred in many commercials, including a spot for The Walt Disney Company’s 25th anniversary celebration and an anti-drug advertisement with *NSYNC. She is most famous for her role as Lizzie Spaulding, the troubled daughter of the long-suffering super couple, Philip and Beth Raines on the CBS daytime soap opera Guiding Light, a role she has played from February 2003 until January 2006. After she left Guiding Light, Hunt was replaced by Marcy Rylan. Hunt received her first Daytime Emmy Award nomination for up coming Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2005 but lost out to Eden Riegel of All My Children. Hunt can also be seen in the 2005 release, The Derby Stallion.
Hunt owns a high end pet boutique in her hometown of Clearwater, My Pets Dream Boutique.
